Miss Worcestershire to compete in Miss England
Laura Beth Morgan won the Miss Worcestershire title in January at the Sixways Stadium in Worcester and is now preparing to represent our beautiful county for the national finals of the Miss England competition being held in Southport during July 2016.
Miss England is held every year to find the nation’s only entry to Miss World. Since gaining the title of Miss Worcestershire Laura has been privileged to work within the community with charity’s such as Primrose Hospice, St Richards Hospice, New Hope, Help Georgie Campaign and many more. Since January Laura has raised over £9000 for charity.
The Miss England competition consists of many categories; Miss Sportswoman, Miss Brainy Beauty, Miss Charity, Miss Eco and many other challenges. It is not all about looks which a lot of people think pageants are about. Miss England has changed a lot throughout the years and its now about finding a role model who can be a brilliant ambassador for England and someone who young women can look up too. Miss England is Held in Southport on the 20th & 21st July where one lady will be crowned Miss England 2016. This is also where Mr World will be held on the 19th July.
Laura is very proud to be representing Worcestershire and said she hopes to make Worcester just as proud by bringing the crown home.
