Christmas Tree Festival 2019

Our hugely popular Christmas Tree Festival returns to the cloister this December. Local businesses, charities, schools and community groups will provide and decorate glittering Christmas trees which line the medieval cloister, creating a truly magical display. The Christmas Tree Festival is an important fundraising event for the Cathedral and attracts thousands of visitors each December.

The Christmas Tree Festival is now full for 2019 and we cannot accept any more applications.

The Tree Festival runs from 7 December – 1 January and is free to visit. Visitors are invited to make a donation via one of the barrels to support the Cathedral and its work.
